Our Masterpiece

We have been blessed to adorn Goddess Meenakshi of Madurai Meenakshi Sundareshwarar temple in making the Vaira Kireedam. Our great grand father Shri S.Muthusamy Chettiyar was a part, and headed the crew that designed and crafted the Diamond Crown in the year 1972.

It is one of the most exquisite motifs in traditional Indian art, for centuries. Allured by its complex design and perfect symmetry, many a craftsman has tried recreating its wonders. From diamonds and gold to emerald and red stone, a variety of gems have been used which expresses its breathtaking beauty. Each strand of the jewel comes with the same care that raised a diamond crown of lasting beauty.

Again a blessing to design the prototype of Vaira Netri Pattai(diamond strap) in the year 2010, that decorates the forehead of Lord Shiva Linga (sundareshwarar) at Madurai Meenakshi Temple. Prototype was designed by SMP. Shanmugam, The Founder of SMP Jewellery. A tribute to the Lord Sundareshwarar, paid by the master goldsmiths at the exclusive SMP jewellery Design Studio.
